Product Creation

Turn your ideas into products with our simple creation process. This guide will walk you through each step, from generating excel files to publishing to Printify.

Step 1: Generate Your Product Excel

  1. Choose Your Groups

    • Select a product template group

    • Pick an image group

    • 💡 Tip: Organize your images and templates beforehand for smoother workflow

  2. AI Content Options (Optional)

    • Toggle AI content generation for titles, descriptions, and tags

    • Add your Gemini API key for unlimited generations

    • Adjust custom prompts for further optimization

    • Append original description to the AI generation description

    • 💡 Tip: Using your own API key removes generation limits

  3. Get Your Excel File

    • System creates spreadsheet with all combinations

    • Includes AI-generated content (if enabled)

    • Optionally review and edit any titles, descriptions, or tags

Step 2: Optimize Your Content

Understanding AI Content Generation

The AI looks at two things:

  1. Your product image

  2. Your template title

Example:

Image shows: Father holding hands with son
Template title: Premium T-shirt
AI creates: "Father & son premium T-shirt"

Best Practices

  • ✅ Use clear template titles

  • ✅ Make sure titles match your products

  • ❌ Avoid blank or irrelevant titles

  • ❌ Don't use long titles

Excel File Editing

Edit these columns as needed:

  • Product titles

  • Descriptions

  • Tags

Step 3: Create Products

Upload Process

  1. Select your edited (or unedited) Excel file

  2. Choose your Printify shop

  3. Toggle "Publish to Store" (Optional)

  4. Start bulk creation

Important Notes

  • ⚠️ Printify Product Creation Limit: 500 products/minute

  • ⚠️ Printify Publishing Limit: 200 requests/30 minutes

  • ⚠️ Do not delete any columns from your generated excel file. Printify requires titles, descriptions, and tags for every product. Deleting a column will cause product creation to fail.

  • ✨ Auto-publishing available if enabled

  • 📊 Real-time progress tracking

  • Plan your product groups before starting

  • Double-check your template titles

  • Review AI-generated content before publishing

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues:

  • Change your browser. We have been notified that some browsers are having issues with image uploading and product creation.

  • Contact support if you have any other issues.
